What do you do when...

Your kid refuses to go down for a nap? Trey has not taken a nap for 2 days in a row and I am hoping that this is just a phase that kids go through. I can not get anything done if he doesn't take a nap if you know what I mean? Of course he has to pull this when I am trying to get ready and packed up to head to Hurricane this weekend. Please someone tell me that this is just a phase!! :)

My heart reaches out to the Johnson Family!

Today I heard that Mandy Johnson was killed in a plane crash by Moab. She was my brother Ramsey's age. After my brother told me what had happened I couldn't believe it. The whole team was killed on the plane. The doctor had his son and daughter on there with them. It just breaks my heart to hear news like this. Mandy will be remembered for her kindness, her bubbly personality, and many more qualities that she had.
My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Do we look alike?

Trey and Pace are both 4 1/2 months in these pictures. I wanted to see how much they look like each other. They most defiantly look like brothers, but have there different looks to them. They are both so handsome and I love them so much! I am so lucky to have them in my life!

Engaged!!!!!

Dj's little brother Brandon got engaged a few days ago. We are so excited for him & Britney! They are getting married on October 17th in the Denver Temple. Which I am very excited to go because I have never been to that temple. We are flying, there is no way that I would drive there with kids. TOO LONG!!! Anyway, Congrats you too!!

Pre-Potty Training

If anyone has any ideas I would love your advice on what has worked for you and your kids. I am not trying to potty train Trey, but I think that it isn't hurting him to get the feel of it and what will happen in the next few months. We he starts grunting I ask him if he needs to go potty and he will run to the bathroom to his little potty. I haven't been able to get him to go pee yet, but he has gone # 2 three times already and it is because I catch him and it is alot easier for me to clean up after. :) Which I wish that he was ready for it, but not quite yet. Anyway, just open for any ideas to get him ready for it. Oh yeah and I also got some Reese's Pieces that sit on the counter to give him some encouragement that anytime he goes that he will get that treat. So we will see how it goes!

I just wanted to show my boys off, and I finally got Trey to look at me and smile at the same time. It was so cool! I have been getting frustrated with him cause he wont sit still to get any pictures. I had an idea to sit him on one of our kitchen table chairs, so he couldn't get down easily.

BUSTED!!!

Yesterday I was on the phone with my sister when I heard some water swishing. I ran to the bathroom, and there was innocent Trey giving his bear blankie a bath in the toilet. So I ran and got my camera. The floor was drenched with water everywhere. Here is the damage...................

Also Trey went to Nursery for the first time last sunday. It was sad to see my baby go to Nursery and to be fine with me not being there. He did so well and had so much fun in there. He was amazed at how many kids were in there. It took him a while to go play with all of them. They took care of him and made sure that he had fun, since he was a newby. When we picked him up he didn't want to leave. It was very nice to not have to worry about him being a pill for the rest of the sunday classes. We wish that they took them during sacrament. :)

Were back and ready to BLOG!

I will start off telling you about our trip down to AZ, before I get to the pictures! The boys were really good! Pace slept pretty much the whole way down, and Trey was pretty good. We had the dvd player behind my seat so that he could watch it, but he kept on hitting the buttons with his feet and turning it off. So Elmo went bye bye after 2 hours. I forgot to tell you that we left around 6 pm on wednesday, so that the boys would sleep all night. Anyway it was good I had alot of snacks and sang lots of songs to keep Trey entertained till he fell asleep. Then we stopped at a place around 1:30 am to get something to eat and Trey woke up, when we started to go we figured that he would fall back asleep nope he didn't want to. My eyes were really heavy on and off and had a hard time driving. Finally I told DJ that I couldn't make it and we stopped at a place that honestly only had one gas station and a little motel. So we got a motel room that had bugs crawling all over the outside lights and inside. But Trey didn't want to sleep he already had his power nap. So we didn't fall asleep for another hour or so. We had 50 miles left to go, but I didn't want to chance falling asleep and wrecking. We got there safe the next morning and unpacked. DJ's parents and brother came to help us unpack, and they were alot of help. Now we are still trying to situate everything. We seriously have alot of stuff, I don't know where to put it all. Here are some pictures that we took over the weekend.

Looking in from the door. It is tiny, but I love it! It is so quite and we are right by the pool which I love and dont have to walk very far. So far we love being here and are enjoying the hott weather. :) Thats all I am going to show because the other rooms are still in construction. Also my walls are still naked and I need to get my pictures up.

Trey got a new bed! I decided that since we are moving to a new area that maybe we could transfer him into a new bed. The first night I had to get in the bed with him for 2 minutes till he fell asleep. He has been really good and staying in it and not playing. I was a little worried that he was going to do that. And he might still do it, but for now he has been good. We captured this picture of him one night he was in the crack. Comfortable huh?
Our cute Pace! The story of him being bald. His hair was rubbing off and it was looking like he was going through kemo cause he had patches of hair and then bald spots where it had rubbed off. Well we decided to cut his bottom hair so that it didn't look silly. Well after we did that he had a bowl cut and it looked bad. So we shaved it all off. So he is our cute bald man. The rest are of Pace. Trey was down for a nap so I decided to take some pictures of him. He will be 4 months on the 6th. I can't believe how big he is getting already. He weighs 10 lbs and 12 oz. and is 23 inches long. He again will be tall and skinny like Trey. His colic has subside and has been better. He still loves to use those lungs when ever he can. The day before we left we went down to the hospital to see if he had acid reflux and he does, so he has been on medicine for that. I hope that this is the last of health problems. I want him to just be a Happy boy all the time! He is laughing and loves sucking on his hands. He is teething also, so joy, joy for me!

An update on Trey, he is 21 lbs 8 oz. and 33 1/4 inches long. He has got in 2 more teeth and have plenty more to come in. He has his moments of not minding me, and screams tons! So I keep on telling him to use his quite voice, it doesn't work. Other than throwing fits and being a typical toddler everything is going great.

DJ started his job on monday and has to train for 3 weeks, so he wont be starting his actual job until then. He is liking the part of dressing up everyday in nice clothes instead of clothes with paint, laquer and saw dust all over him. He is really enjoying it!

Nothing new with me other than I am enjoying being a mommy and a wife! Even on the down days I wouldn't trade it for nothing.

3rd Anniversary

Our Annivesary was on the 23rd of July. We spent the day packing,cleaning,and leaving. Fun huh! So we didn't get to celebrate! Eventually I am sure that when we get settled that we will be able to go celebrate. I can't believe that it has been three years already. DJ is such a good Husband and Father! He is such a hard worker and is willing to do anything to provide for his family. I love him so much he is my everything. I don't know what I would do without him. We have had alot of good things happen to us in those 3 years. Especially having both of our sons come into our lives. I love my family so much and I can't wait to have a bigger family! Not anytime soon though! :) We will start up again when we are making the big bucks or at least when school is done.
