Hello 2014 almost goodbye 2014

Man has a lot changed since I have been on my blog or even posted. Do you remember how cool a blog was back in the day? Obviously since I am on here and even posting must mean I am sick of Facebook and Instagram. Trust me I do enjoy seeing what's going on with everyone's lives,but most of the time it takes over your days and even your life. I'm not even sure who blogs anymore because it is so much easier to do the other social media stuff. Its right at your hands, notification popping up after another one. It takes a toll on how we go about our days, taking pictures so we can send them to everyone to let them know what's going on in our lives. It gets exhausting just thinking about it. It is actually nice to sit here and just write for no day reason. Not having to crop my picture to send it off or edit it. Ok on to more fun things......
We had a baby girl named Sway on Christmas day of 2013. She is already 10 months old. Man does time fly. She has been the perfect way to wrap up our family, we have enjoyed having her in our family. I'm going to miss being pregnant but very excited to move on to bigger things with the kids getting older. I am actually very excited to do one last of the phases with Sway and be done with them. Sometimes I wish that we didn't have those distractions in our life, but what would Satan do with his time? I know that if we do the things we are suppose to do then it will be harder for Satan to come into our lives. I try to be spiritual, read my scriptures, be busy and not worry what's on my phone. I try to do service and be more Christ like. I am going to try my hardest with blogging at least once a week, and to write about something to help others out instead of being all over the place like I am now. LOL
Trey and Pace are getting so big, doing so well in school. Progressing like crazy and reading so well. Sawyer is turning 5 this month it's crazy, and is doing so well in preschool. Bronx is hilarious with him talking more, we are always cracking up with what comes out of his mouth. Sway is just getting so big I cant even stand it.
Dj is finally being able to take the St. George route for work which means more money, and being home earlier. Wahoo! I think he enjoys what he does, but is going to start volunteering at the Temple on Saturdays and wants to get a job doing what he loves, Cabinetry. I hope that one day his hard work with pay off and he will be able to get that job.
DJ's parents and Grammy Pammy are coming out for Thanksgiving for a few days, super excited about seeing them again. Haven't seen them since July. This post is all over the place, but do you expect any different since I forgot how to blog. :) Well I better get to bed, to have another successful day with my family.

Fads

I have had alot to say about them lately, but have been holding my tongue. I know that they are fun, exciting,adrenaline rushes. Whatever! I admit I have got on a few of them myself at times, but then found out that it is not all what life is about. I guess I am just finding out what a bore I have become the older I get. Ever since I have started my family 6 years ago, its all about them my kids. How to make my kids life the best and be for them all that I can. It is about family not fads. I love to get together with my friends, but I hate being in a certain group. Because that is what I hate moving because their is only certain groups. Which one will you get asked into? I hate drama all of it. I hate not being asked also, because it does make you feel worthless like you arent good enough. Id rather do stuff with my own family and start memories for us. I already did the highschool thing and I am not doing it again. That is how I see fads like being back in highschool, you arent cool unless you do it. Well, whatever! That is my take on them and if you are a fads lover, more power to you. And not knocking you, just giving my personal opinion on them and why I stick to myself and my family.

Laundry

It is never ending.. Wish I had someone to wash it and then put it away. They might as well organize while they are at it. I try really hard to organize and get the stuff and never do anything.

Bronx's Birthday

This cute little guy turned 1 on March 8th. Bronx is such a good baby, very chill and happy boy. We are so glad that he came into our lives. He had a Monster party, so I drew a monster shirt for him to wear. He was so cute!!!

CO to UT

Man have I been struggling to get back going on our blog. I have never been good at writing in my journal growing up but always have enjoyed after it was done. As I looked over many blogs I haven't seen in a long time I decided to start it up again. BIG changes in our family lately. We were doing the school thing back in Colorado and had every intentions to continue with that journey, but the lord has his ways in putting something in the way and changing that plan. It was around the first of December that I had a feeling that we needed to move back to utah by my family. I knew that it wouldn't be possible unless DJ had a good job to move for. I had been looking at jobs online to see what was open and nothing that looked good. So probably about a week later I was talking to my mom and she was telling me that her neighbors across the street was leaving and that house was up for rent. Well as much as I wanted to move right away without no job, I knew that DJ wouldn't do it. So I figured that the house would be long gone. I was messanging my sister one day back and forth and she said that 3 drivers had quit at Scholzen Products were my dad has worked for 25 years. Well DJ had been driving for his job for about 2 years and I called my dad to see what to do. I called DJ up and told him and he called and got a application. By this time it was about a week before christmas and we were planning on going out to Utah after Christmas. We waited for about a week till Scholzens got back to DJ. Dj had come home for lunch and said to me I start on the 31st, I said WHAT!!!! No way how come you didn't tell me? I was so excited, then the fact that he said the 31st scared the crap out of me. How are we going to move in a week, clean the house and get out of our lease. Along with Christmas coming up in 4 days. As we talked more to my parents they decided to come out the day after Christmas to help us move and clean. We packed up and cleaned in 2 days( The moving truck is another story) I had to drive the whole 12 hrs by myself. I took Bronx and Sawyer with me, my parents took Pace and DJ took Trey. It was good to be able to split up all the kids and give me the easier kids. Although all of our kids are really good travellers, they just like to quarel at each other every so often. So we ended up making it, with all dry roads and no snow. It was a perfect day to move. We are living in a smaller home than we are used to, but it has a basement and an upstairs so it makes it seem so cramped. I am enjoying living 2 secs from my parents and down the street from my brother and sisters familys. It has been so much fun already. Getting settled in more everyday and less boxes out of our home. DJ is working up in the Steel house and has enjoyed it very much. It has been cold the past few days so I imagine that it isn't as fun, but he hasn't complained and has enjoyed every bit of his job already. Hopefully one day he will move on up, and possibly be able to do wood stuff on the side. To be able to enjoy his hobby more now that he hasn't had to worry about school.

Trey's happenings!

Trey has been wrestling for the past few months and did so good, we are so proud of him! He started with laughing through out the matches and not really understanding it to getting fiesty, and understanding that he hates being on his back. :) Can't wait for next year and have both of the boys wrestling.
