Our Trip to Denver
First Day we traveled to Alburqurque,NM (7 hours) We stayed at DJ's brothers house
Second Day we traveled to Alamosa,CO (4 hours) We stopped by the Alburqurque Temple before we headed out. It was very pretty! Then we stayed at DJ's parents house that night.
Third Day we traveled to Denver,CO (4 hours) Before we headed out we went to a warm springs pool and the boys loved it.
Fourth Day we stayed in Denver for the Funeral. The funeral was very nice, but a little different for me, and very interesting. DJ's grandparents aren't members and so they had the funeral in a Catholic church.I didn't get any pictures and am mad that I didn't even get a family pic of us.
Fifth Day we traveled to Alburqurque,NM (7 hours) Stayed with his brother again
Sixth Day we traveled back home (8 1/2 hours)
Never travel back on a holiday! We got stuck in 2 hours of traffic when we only had 1 1/2 left to get home. It rained on us the last two days traveling, mostly the last day.
All in all it was a great vacation. The boys were champs when it came to traveling and thank goodness for Dvd players or we would have been in trouble. They both had a screen on back of our headrests so it was nice. We loved traveling in our van, it was so smooth the whole way and we were passing up the SUV's up hill with no trouble. The room was so nice for me to walk back and forth to the back and front.
