Good & Bad

Trey has finally done it. He is officially a Big Boy now. We have been training with him for a few weeks, but now he is going on his own without me reminding him or telling him to go. What a good feeling that is! Now the only thing I worry about is that we are heading to Denver,CO on Wednesday and he pees almost every hour and I don't really want to bring his potty chair. I guess he will have to learn how to go pee standing up on the side of the road. :)

That's the good news now onto the bad news the reason why we are heading to Denver is because DJ's Grandma Meis passed away. She had a stroke last week and held on till later this last weekend. We are all sad to see her go,and going to miss her dearly. She was the sweetest lady ever, and a very good Great Grandma to the boys.

He is going to be Paul Bunyan and wanted his beard dyed also to lo0k fuller. lol!


We are going to go to different places while we head to Denver and make a family vacation out of it since we really didn't do much over the summer. It also will be our first long trip in our new van and are excited to be able to use all of our room that we have. I will post pictures when we get back

24 wks

I can't believe that I only have 16 more weeks to go. This pregnancy has gone by so fast,December is going to be right around the corner. I have felt pretty good lately other than being really tired as usual. She is moving around a lot now. I go into the doctor this week and I probably will get an appointment for my ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved over which I am sure it has, but very excited to see her again. I look really big in this picture with the way I am posing. I think that I have gained 3 or 4 pounds so far, I will lose a pound or two then gain them back. I am at least going forward and not backwards. The doctor isn't worried so I am not either as long as I gain enough for her to be healthy I am happy. The funny thing is that DJ is getting really hungry lately. He is worse than me. We were watching TV last night and every food commercial that would come on he would say that looks so good. It was so funny! I do remember someone telling me that the husbands go through the hungry phase like we do when we are pregnant. I guess it is that time. Good thing he runs on his lunch break so his belly doesn't get bigger.
The boys are getting bigger and bigger everyday. I wish that Trey wouldn't bug Pace, I am hoping that he will get better at being nicer and not the dominant big brother! Trey is talking so much more now I can almost carry a conversation with him. He is picking songs up really fast. Pace is our dare devil and doesn't stop climbing. He also says quite a few words and loves his Daddy ALOT! Daddy is the word that he says the most for everything. I'm a little jealous of how much he loves his daddy, but at least Trey loves being with me and helping me out so we are even. We have been enjoying our time out in the yard as you can see from my last post. Last weekend we cleaned our garage out and it looks so much better. Now I just need to figure out where to put the rest of my decorations and we will be set. We are still loving our house and love our ward and the area that we are in.

This is how I am feeling right about now. I have been ignoring our weeds in the backyard since we moved in. We have been having some awesome weather and I had the energy to get out and do something. I decided to tackle it. I was on the move till I found an ant pile that kept on biting me so I stopped. Pulling weeds can be addicting! I just kept on going and going because I was so proud of myself for doing it. And for making our yard look better. There will be lots more days and probably months till I get the whole yard finished. But I will keep you updated on my progress. I am very excited to get it looking very good back there. I am glad that my parents are such great example to us for always having there yard look amazing, so I can't wait till we can get some extra cash to get some more stuff done other than pulling weeds.

Hello Honda Odyssey


We love it so much! It is more roomier and it drives so smooth.

Pace also is in a toddler bed now


I caught the boys yesterday both up on the counter brushing there teeth.


And now that Pace is out of the crib I put up Sawyers bedding that I got from before. I am going to paint but going to hold off in case we have another surprise. :)


The boys also had alot of fun at Grandma and Papa Meis' house with there other cousins.


Trey didn't want to cooperate for them as you can see.

Nothing much has really happened lately for us. oh yeah DJ and I got callings in our new ward and DJ is in Young Mens as the Varsity something and I am a Activity Days leader and also there primary teacher. Last week was our first week and we are both enjoying them already.
We didn't go anywhere exciting for this summer since we have been busy with getting in the house and buying a van and getting ready for Sawyer to come so we live pretty boring lives. We are hoping that DJ will get another raise here soon to be able to help us out some more finacially. SO no more decorating for me now and just trying to save up our money. I wish that we could travel more and do fun stuff but its just not in the budget for us right now.
