Fun Weekend

The boys and I went up to our friends house in Scottsdale on friday and stayed the night. I watched Toady while Ashley did some testing. And DJ had a campout so we had fun with them. Thanks for letting us stay there we had so much fun.The kids having fun in the tub! Trey Trey & Toady- They are best buds! The play so well together and have so much fun.

Thinking about which one he should pick Dj and I got Truth and Dare Jenga from his parents this weekend, so we decided to play it while the kids were playing well together. It was getting really hard at this point and of course he managed to get one through so when it was my turn it fell. Also this last sunday DJ finally taught me how to play Settlers of Catan while the boys were down for a nap. It was really fun. I have alot of practice to do before I will play with my brothers and sister. Dj is good at helping me out! :) We had a great weekend full of grilling, games, and sleepovers.

New Steps in Life

Our Boys are growing up way to fast. I can't believe that in a week that Trey will be 2 and in a few weeks Pace will start running away from me. :) Trey and Pace are having so much fun together, and getting along so well. It is so much fun watching them have fun together. Trey has been talking so much lately and I know most of the time what he wants. It is so nice! We are working on Letters and colors and it is so much fun to watch him grow. He is such a smart little boy. I wanted to show my families these videos of Trey & Pace, & what they have been doing the past few weeks. Also we went for Pace's 9 month appt the other day & he is 7 % in weight & 85% in Height. We are raising some Tall, Skinny boys. Which is Great! Hopefully one day they will fill out. DJ is doing well with school and still loving his job. He is still in Boy scouts and is enjoying going on campouts with them. Also him and three of his other friends that he grew up with have started a 4 on 4 flag football team. They play every saturday and won there first game this last sat. He is loving it! I am not doing so much other than just enjoying my time with the kids and getting together with some of my girlfriends and having playdates. It is nice to have some Adult conversations once in a while! Every mom needs this at least once a week. :)Everything is great at the Meis home. I also have some other pictures that I will post later this week of the fun weekend that we had.

We are a Happy Family!!

Here are some pictures that I took over the past few days. We were experimenting some training with Trey in his undies, so that explains that. The others are just cute and wanted to post them since we are alot happier and not sick anymore.

Not a Happy Week for the Meis family!

When we got home from Hurricane we had an uninvited welcome from the flu bug! It hit Trey off on Monday. Pace and I on Wed. DJ never threw up but had hot and cold flashes that day. And the rest of the days the boys have taken turns with throwing up sporadically. Along with that we have had the fun Diarrhea. I can't say that we are better yet. Pace threw up about 3 times this morning. And Trey just throws up at night when he goes to bed and is asleep after a few hours. He also had solid poop today so that was a highlight of the day! My boys cant lose weight so I am worried, but I know that they will make it through it. We only had one fever the whole week so that was good also. I called my mom discouraged today wondering why they were still throwing up after they already had there 24 hour bug, and she said that they are probably giving it back and forth to each other. So DJ and I wiped everything down and lysoled the whole house. I am just SICK of it already and we all need to get our strength back and our appetites. Hopefully I will get back to blogging about my happy kids and family.

3 weeks in Hurricane

Trey and I built a snowman, he helped me till I started to put the face on it.
He was scared of it after that and wouldn't let me keep him there by it to take a picture.

Our time in Hurricane was so much fun. It was so busy and went by so fast. Trey doubled his vocabulary and talks so much. You have to be careful what you say around him cause he will copy what you say. The other day I was playing with him and something wasn't working so I said Oh Crap! And he said Crap! I looked at my mom and said I mean Shoot! As you can see Pace is standing for quite sometime and got to experience my parents stairs. Had a few falls on to the wood floors. Glad that I dont have any stairs. It seems with us that one masters something and the other one is just starting. But it is alot of fun. We had a great Christmas and New years. We missed DJ alot! The weeks that we didn't get to see him. But are glad to be back in Gilbert as a family. Just wanted to thank my parents for everything. Letting me stay for so long and for bringing us back. My poor dad's back is out today because he drove us here and back in 2 days. Sorry Dad! Anyway, Trey had alot of fun with his cousin JT. And Pace had alot of fun following them around. Sorry for those that I said that we would get together and we didn't. Maybe next time when we are down it won't be on a holiday and be so busy. Hope everyone had a great holiday. We sure did!
