Calling out to you Mothers
Ok so my second son Pacers has been potty trained for at least a year now. He will be 3 in April. He was potty trained so fast because he would never wear his diaper or pull up. So it has been a long road with him. He does so good, but is a horrible aimer and is so stubburn. So if he pees in his pants then he gets a pull up on. And that is hell for us because he screams and fights, and so we have had to duck tape them on him a few nights because he was peeing the bed. Well Long story short I need some ideas to get him to stop peeing in his underwear because he waits to long to get to the toilet. I have tried cold showers, and I am at my spot where I am frustrated with cleaning up pee, and washing everything. So please comment if you have any ideas for me. Thanks!

Megan, I stumbled upon your blog and just wanted to tell you how cute your little family is. As far as the potty training thing, not much advice. Try taking away a favorite toy when he has an accident, then give it back when he goes 'x' number of days with no accidents. Good luck.
let him sit in the pee. Don't change him for a little while. He won't like the feeling and hopfully start going quicker. Hope this helps!
I am not saying we are anywhere near perfect goes as far as potty training. But what I found out worked for us wasn't to punish but to reward. After they go potty on the toilet we would give an M&M or three and a sticker for the potty chart. I make a big happy deal about what a big boy they are being and Brad does too. Like I said I never punished because I wanted the potty training process to be a happy one. I know this post is old so I hope you have gotten past it but just in case you haven't that is what I did.
